GRAMMY AWARD WINNING DJ CEDRIC GERVAIS TO HEADLINE DEEP HARD ‘N FUNKY 2014 FOR HIS ONLY KIWI SHOW

THE ALL NIGHT DANCE EXPERIENCE

EASTER WEEKEND EXTRAVAGANZA / 17th APRIL 2014 / ELLERSLIE RACECOURSE

We’re another week closer to the DEEP HARD ‘N FUNKY Music Festival at Ellerslie Racecourse on Thursday 17th April 2014 and this party just got deeper, harder and funkier!
Because ticket sales have gone through the roof and this has become the fastest selling Deep Hard ‘N Funky in history, we’ve been forced to add more acts and more zones to an already epic event.
We are pleased to announce that local legends PNC, DICK JOHNSON and Deep Hard first time DJs MAT GROOVES and DJ LENIUM have been added to the line up and that we’ve added another room to host the 40+ DJs who will be spinning tracks right through the night.
This third act announcement joins GRAMMY AWARD WINNING DJ CEDRIC GERVAIS at DEEP HARD ‘N FUNKY as the only New Zealand show on his worldwide Summertime Sadness tour, alongside WHAT SO NOT, the epic Aussie duo made up of Harley FLUME Streton and Chris EMOH INSTEAD Emerson.
In our second act announcement we revealed two other international acts – rapidly rising sensation and hot babe TIGERLILY alongside Aussie electro legend KILTER – who are being smashed all over George FM right now.

GRAMMY AWARD WINNING DJ CEDRIC GERVAIS will headline the DEEP HARD ‘N FUNKY stage as the only New Zealand show on his worldwide Summertime Sadness tour, alongside WHAT SO NOT, the epic Aussie duo made up of Harley FLUME Streton and Chris EMOH INSTEAD Emerson.

A resident of the legendary SPINNIN RECORDS and Miley Cyrus’ newest collaborator, Gervais picked up the Grammy Award for Best Non-classical Remixed Recording this Sunday for his remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness”.

Gervais recently landed himself in a spot of hot water with household names MADONNA and deadmau5. When Madonna asked the audience at Ultra Music Festival 2012 whether they’d seen “MOLLY” (in reference to Gervais’ hit track), deadmau5 lashed out at the pop queen for her weak attempt at “getting down with the kids”.

Cedric Gervais is only the beginning. Aussie powerhouse WHAT SO NOT will bring the house down with the anthems that have been created by this Sydney duo, including their mammoth hit “Jaguar”, remixes of tunes by the likes of Major Lazer and Disclosure, plus tracks from their latest Quack EP.
