Rekorderlig Cider brings first Swedish bar to Auckland

To celebrate the start of Sweden’s summer, Rekorderlig Cider has brought a taste of Sweden to Auckland by creating the city’s very first Swedish bar – Kapell Bar.

In just 12 hours, Rekorderlig Cider transformed Chapel Bar & Bistro, one of Ponsonby's most iconic bars, to create Kapell Bar (the Swedish translation of Chapel).

Kapell Bar will be open for two weeks (May 7th – 17th) only, and for that time everything you see and taste at Kapell Bar will be inspired by Rekorderlig's homeland – Sweden. Head down for a delicious cider and a proper Scandinavian experience.

Congratulations to Drew McMillian from Dunedin, who won flights and accommodation to check out the bar.

The prizes don’t end there though, we’ve got lots of Swedish-inspired products and experiences to give away, including Kubb Brothers games, Fika workplace shouts, $250 Swedish furniture vouchers and Kapell dining vouchers.

Kapell bar will be open until Sunday 17th of May, opening hours are:
Monday - Wednesday: 3pm till late
Thursday - Sunday: 12pm till late

Competition open to people 18 years and older only.
