Think of the person that wants to be everything... that's me! I wanted to be a logging truck driver, a singer, an actress, a lawyer, a farmer, a TV presenter, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, the list goes on!
All in all, I have a passion to read out loud and know what's happening in the world.
I love my family and quality time, which must be said as it's extremely important.
- Shannon hosts 8-10 Sat nights with a "what's on top" of various charts like Beatport, DJ Download, an exclusive mix from various DJs around the world, her fav tunes from the week and the odd up and coming DJ/Act popping up to be 'profiled"!
So the question is, what local and international DJs and Acts do you want to hear on the show?

Dean Campbell, George Drive News?
In this age of easy-access-Internet-information-overload-satisfaction-I-know-before-you-know behaviour, what is the role of radio news on an alternative music station? Good question, tune in weekdays at 4,5 and 6pm to find the answer (maybe?!)
Well known for using his written news copy purely as a "guide", Dean's rather cavalier attitude to newsreading will often see a bulletin spiral off course on humourous tangents, whilst still poking and prodding you to think loosely about the issue at hand.
Sure if the Harbour Bridge is falling down, or Winston Peters has been locked outside his hotel room in the nude, we'll cover it, but we're more likely to be covering music, entertainment, oddball, technology, or "fun" stories. Why? Because you can get your hard news elsewhere, ad nauseum.
So tune into Drive News with Dean Campbell for an original alternative, weekdays at 4pm, 5pm & 6pm.
Occasionally informed, usually amusing, always news (except when he digresses into tiresome yet oddly engaging personal anecdotes).
