Sex education book is causing an absolute ruckus for apparently being too explicit

A book entitled The Amazing True Story of How Babies Are Made has caused a divide online among a lot of parents due to it being a tiny bit crass...

The explainer book, written for kids, stays well away from the old tales of the stork - going into some rather explicit details about the real-life act that actually creates children.

The pbook - which was being sold at Kmart Australia, in its kids' book section - has images of a penis inside a vagina and a woman lying on top of a man mid-coitus.

MID-COITUS?!?!

A Facebook post about the book, which is written by cartoonist Fiona Katauskas, expresses total shock about why it appeared in a section frequented by children.

Many commenters backed the poster up.

"There is a classification for watching TV in what age groups can see. Why the F*** is this book shelved for children?" one wrote.

Lolz at all the morally bankrupt white people supporting this filth, I'm hoping they don't have children yet and when they do they'll realise that their kids don't have any use for this information,

However many were supportive of the book, saying it was a good educational tool - and better for children to learn about sex that way, rather than through a fellow child at school.

"You're actually abusing your child by denying them knowledge of basic facts," a commenter said.

"School does a shit job of teaching it so if the parents can't do a good job than books should be the next best alternative."

Said another: "What is the problem? This is simply truthfully telling the facts of life so I am really struggling to see the issue."
