An unlucky punter has sued her former tenant after she recognised her house in several different pornographic films. Interesting.

Leah Bassett, 43, launched the suit after discovering at least 24 films were shot in her house, including Schoolboy Fantasies 2 and His Son's Best Friend Volume 1The Daily Mail reports. (This just gets better)

She says the house's use as a "shooting locale for commercial porn" without her consent has tainted her memory of the Aquinnah, Massachusetts home she built with her father.

Tenant Joshua Spafford is named in the suit along with Monica Jensen, aka porn star Nica Noelle, who is an associate at production company Mile High Distribution Inc.

Two other entertainment companies have also been named.

Ms Bassett says as well as the unauthorised porn shoots the house was returned to her with nearly US$16,000 (NZ$22,135) worth of damage due to Mr Spafford's activities, The Daily Mail reports.

It was the damage that initially tipped her off to the homes use, as she began investigating Mr Spafford and made the shocking discovery of his line of work.

"[She] independently made the highly disturbing discovery that her personal residence had been used during the leasehold for the commercial production of graphic pornography," the lawsuit said.

In the following weeks Ms Bassett began obsessively looking at websites connected to Mr Spafford, Ms Jensen and Mile High as well as any other porn stars who spoke about shooting in Martha's Vineyard.

She discovered nearly every room in the property had been used for porn as well as several of her hand-sewn pillows and art works featuring in graphic sex scenes.

According to The Daily Mail Ms Bassett is seeking unspecified damages for breach of contract, trespassing and copyright infringement due to her artwork being shown in some films.

Ms Jensen's lawyer says the allegations are "unfounded" and it's a simple landlord-tenant dispute.
