RuneScape is coming to smart phones and tablets

For years, RuneScape has been confined to gamer's bedrooms - stinking of farts, socks and loneliness.

But RuneScape has finally put a stop to this madness. Taking a stand, RuneScape has said: "No. Enough is enough, Jagex."

"Let me socialise with the rest of 2017, MAKE ME AN APP."

Yep, the old school MMORPG game (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) is coming to mobile phones and tablets later this year. The modern version will drop in 2018.

Jagex's RuneScape mobile campaign catchphrase?

"Your Game Anywhere."

Not encouraging excessive use. At all.

Not one of the most addictive game of all time or anything...

Yeah, nah. It'll be sweet.

Released way back in 2001, RuneScape - believe it or not - is actually still going MAD strong. Just last year it officially reached 250 million accounts signed up since launch.

There are THOUSANDS of players who have been playing for 16 years.

However, the mobile version will open itself up to a whole new host of fans.

If you're keen, you can head to the RuneScape webpage, and register your interest to keep in the know.
