Bad case of insomnia? Reddit reckons this body lotion can cure you
It's 11.45pm. You haven't drunk any caffeine in 8 hours, you put your phone on sleepy time light mode, you turned the TV off hoooours ago, you tried doing some light meditating... you've tried everyone's advice, and yet you've been lying in bed for over an hour with your brain rattling around in your head and your "why the fuck aren't I asleep yet" frustation just growing and growing and growing.
You have to get up in six hour and fifteen minutes... every minute you think about how you're not sleeping is another minute not sleeping.
Insomnia sucks balls.
And now here's the latest Insomnia cure getting the sleep deprived excited.
A lotion from Lush named Sleepy which has been released before by the cosmetic brand as a limited edition product, but had now been introduced to the permanent collection.
One Redditor wrote: "As someone with incurable and not so common chronic illnesses which result in chronic pain and insomnia because of the pain, Sleepy lotion is the one product that can actually help me through the worst of my nights."
In fact a bunch of people from Reddit went nuts when it was pulled late last year. Read the full thread here.
It's been reintroduced in the US and UK Lush stores, so we're hoping it'll arrive in NZ soon too.
