posted 10 March 2010We have 2 vacancies in what we humbly consider to be New Zealand's most exciting radio station. Both roles are central to the future development and growth of George FM.
So which one are you?
Promotions & Event Manager
This person needs to be blessed with the ability to be highly creative and highly organised, and they need to be able to come up with the kind of ideas that not only excite sales teams and clients, but also sound great on air. Beyond the ideas, though, they need to know how to organise a great event and/or outside broadcast that involves liaising with engineering staff, clients, venues, councils, dj's and hosts. In short you will be a creatively led, amazing organiser with an under- the-hood appreciation of how radio works.
Operations Manager
Here's your chance to work right in the engine room of George FM. In this role, you'll work with the General Manager to ensure that the hundreds of moving parts within the business keep moving (in the right direction & at the right time). You'll need experience of the key systems (Selector, Linker, NextGen etc.) and be able to keep all the audio and scheduling under control at all times. If you're highly organised, well-versed in compliance, with the ability to produce a great show and even get behind the mic every now and then - we would very much like to hear from you.
