The Technical Sessions is back for 2010
New Zealand's top Producers and DJs caught on camera! Video interviews with some of our top electronica artists up now.
Adding new videos from the god-father of house in New Zealand Greg Churchill.
Each month a new interview is held at the Red Bull Studios in Auckland, and the resulting video edited and put up online for everyone to enjoy.
"I started the Technical Sessions as a way to share information about production and DJing. The guys we get up to talk have a wealth of knowledge, and more importantly, experience something that goes beyond what many of the online tutorials currently provide" Kerry Adams
The interviews cover all aspects of producing and performing electronic music with studio tips, gear recommendations, and reflections and advice on the scene today. It provides a wealth of information to anyone getting started or already involved in the creation of this music.
"We hope to grow the scope of the sessions this year with more interviews, tutorials and gear reviews hopefully we will also get down country at some point and visit some of the incredible artists around the country" Kerry Adams
As the sessions continue to grow anyone interested is invited to come along to the nights to be part of the interviews, as well as get involved online with questions and comments.
