Well established in the New Zealand electronic music industry Mark Emerson has gone from strength to strength in his DJing career. Mark's first glimpse into the dance music world was supplying VJ equipment and effects to the biggest gigs to hit Aotearoa shores from his co-owned company. However his passion for music has been with him since early childhood banging around the house on any instrument in his reach.

After showing a keen interest in the dance industry in his early twenties Mark set out testing his DJing ability with some mates and became instantly hooked. His choice of sound at this stage was quite varied from drum'n'bass to progressive. His new found interest was welcomed by fellow music lovers.

Playing a couple of small cosy gigs it wasn't long before radio producers showed interest and Mark was on the local airwaves spreading his sound on Auckland's UPfm. Marks addictive sound of a bit of house/electro/breaks and techno was in huge demand and lead to his ever increasing popularity which landed him a prime night spot on New Zealand's well respected nationwide radio station George FM.

His passion for music and undeniable talent didn't go unnoticed prior to his radio show Hi Fi either, promoters are always hot on Marks heels. They have given birth to Marks career highlights such as supporting Dj heavy weights like Eric Morillo, Sasha, John Digweed, Mogui and Steve Angello when they have graced our shores. Djing hasn't just seen Mark hit local clubs he's travelled up and down the country slamming his beats from Queenstown to Whangarei. With a solid residencu at Aucklands elite club that is Be things refuse to slow down for this talent, so watch this space for more great things to come.
