Bobby Davro has had it all. The British actor, impressionist and comedian shot to fame in the 1980s, going on to host primetime sketch and quiz shows, marry a page 3 girl and land a role in top-rating soap EastEnders.
Chris Reed has probably had even less than he realises. His TV career lasted a fortnight, his jokes are generally poor and his radio career ended after he was sacked from high-profile Saturday morning show English Breakfast for insulting the Queen.
Deportation, a stint in a Turkish prison and a painful split from co-host Tash (the funny one) weren't great career moves. He does, however, have a beautiful wife. Take that Davro.
Now Chris is battling back, through the ninth-best Monday slot on GeorgeFM.
His mission: to make The Bobby Davro Experience the nation's top light entertainment show (on the radio). His weapons: Radio I-Spy, the Back To Love house classic and Guilty Pleasures - tunes you wouldn't put on your iPod because they're not cool enough.
Not looking good is it?
Tune in every Monday from 10pm for two hours of train-wreck radio, because, let's be honest, he needs all the help he can get.
