On 'The Hype' every Saturday night 10-12 on George FM, expect to hear everything from the latest big room tune, to that obscure white label bootleg, music so fresh it has its own produce section!

Lucas became an Auckland resident DJ in late 2004 after a switch from the bright lights & big city of Hamilton where he was a resident DJ for two years at Hamilton's pioneer House spots the Liquid Lounge, Revert, and The Loft, but started his DJ Career early in 2001 based in Sydney at the Infamous Beach Road Hotel.

Lucas has held residencies at Auckland's most Premier clubs SPY Bar, The Met, Flight Lounge, and is the current resident at Auckland's most prestigious yet underground nightclub 'CODE' and monthly Guest appearances at the North Shores Mesh Nightclub. Lucas also plays Bi-Monthly at the Buddha Lounge in Tauranga and staying true to his roots by keeping up appearances at the Loft in Hamilton and the renowned 55 in New Plymouth.

Now in his 5th year, he has supported some of the Biggest producers in the world, Including Roger Sanchez, The Potbelliez, Dirty South, Tocadisco, Dabruck & Klein, Mobin Master, Tommy Trash, Christian Luke, Ashton Shuffle, and The Stafford Brothers to name a few.

Also with weekly spots at new Zealand's biggest parties including Ministry of sound, Mint, Sundown, Highlife Entertainment Events, Our House, Soul Shakin, Flamingo and many other of New Zealand's top dance events.

Not content to just DJ he can also be found running his own 'In House Entertainment' events company, which has hosted some on the worlds most respected producers such as Mobin Master and Christian Luke. With many successful branded club nights under it's umbrella such as Flamingo, Soul Shakin, Get Ya Club On, Freestyle, and Sundown at Vilagrads, he shows no signs of slowing down and continues to goes from strength to strength.

His Music is Funky&Fresh, driven by bass lines, uplifting, and always surprising as no two sets are the same and a departure from the predictable can be expected, by playing to the crowd first and foremost. You never know what to expect each time he plays, and that's exactly the way he likes it.
