Police in Italy have found cocaine stuffed inside hundreds of coffee beans after opening a suspicious package addressed to a movie character.
Investigators found over 500 coffee beans that had been hollowed out, filled with cocaine and then taped shut for a total of 130 grams of the Devil's dandruff.
According to a statement from the Guardia di Finanza financial police, the package arrived from Colombia to an airport in Milan and a customs officer decided to take a closer look once he read the label - addressing the package to Santino D’Antonio, a Mafia boss from the John Wick films..
Police then went to Florence in Italy where a 50-year-old man was arrested at the package's intended destination.
The man in question was registered as living in the Colombian city of Medellin - famously the former home of notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar. Might have had better luck addressing the package to him.
