If you somehow missed it, Diplo live streamed Sophie Turner's wedding to Joe Jonas last month in Vegas, and the internet went pretty nuts.
Since then there's been a bit of back and forth in the media between Diplo and the married pair, with Joe Jonas saying the DJ kind of ruined the wedding - "Yeah, [Diplo] did ruin it. I love Diplo, but he loves his ‘gram more than a 13-year-old. He, like, posts every five seconds. He literally live streamed with dog face filters."
DJ Dip then clapped back with the below post:
Now in a new interview Dip has said the spontaneity of the ceremony made him think it wasn't that serious:
"I didn’t know it was a serious wedding. I really didn’t know what was going on. I was hanging out with [Joe Jonas] after the Billboard Awards… and I was, like, ‘This is crazy. Let me record this.’ And there was mad people with cameras! I didn’t know I was, like, the only person recording this thing," he explained.
"I was talking to Joe today. There was a story that came out that he was, like, mad about me. He called me today to apologize. Guess I’m ruining it now because I was going to continue to have beef with him. Pay attention to me and Jonas’ beef because I’m coming for him."
To be fair, noone could have been expected to take it seriously - they were getting married in Vegas by bloody Elvis.
