Tom Cruise surprised fans at San Diego's Comin-Con and released the first trailer for 'Top Gun: Maverick', a sequel to the 1986 classic 'Top Gun'.
The new trailer sees Captain Maverick return to the cockpit after 34 long years, now as a flight instructor where he guides Bradley, son of the late 'Goose' from the first film.
"For 34 years you guys have been very patient with me and I felt it was my responsibility for me to deliver for you," Cruise said. Catch the full trailer above.
With Cruise reprising his role, the sequel to the 1986 film also stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell, Jon Hamm and original 'Top Gun' actor Val Kilmer.
