4000-person BBQ outside vegan's house planned after she sued neighbors for cooking meat

Over 4,000 punters have planned a community barbie at a vegan’s house after she took legal action against her neighbours for cooking meat.

Thousands of people have clicked "attending" to the Facebook event "Community BBQ for Cilla Carden". "Don’t let Cilla destroy a good old Aussie tradition, join us for a community BBQ in protest of her actions, and help Cilla Carden GET SOME PORK ON HER FORK," the event description reads.

Aussie woman Carden has reportedly been in a year-long war with her neighbours and claims they have been intentionally barbecuing meat, blowing cigarette smoke and bouncing basketballs just to piss her off.

Carden claims she can't go outside and enjoy her garden because all she can smell is fish cooking on the neighbor's barbecue.

Carden told Daily Mail Australia that things have been ‘blown out of proportion’.

She said she respects the rights of meat eaters and her only issue is with her neighbors.

Her lawyer said anyone who attends the event will face criminal charges.

'Any person who seeks to attend Ms Carden’s property on Saturday, October 19, 2019, or at any other time in relation to this event or matter will be referred to the WA police on the grounds of trespass.

Security cameras will be installed to obtain vision of any person attending the property and the vision will be provided to the police.’

We'll see if anyone turns up - Carden has said she just wants to get on with her life.
