Ted Bundy's longterm girlfriend and her daughter have done pretty well at staying out of the spotlight for the last 40 years. Now they're going to speak out about the notorious serial killer.
Elizabeth Kendall and her daughter Molly are set to feature in a new five-part documentary series named Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer.
The new doco is expected to come out some time next year, and will focus on what was going on in Kendall's mind when Bundy was committing some of the worst crimes the US have ever seen.
Amazon Prime will be releasing the series, describing it as:
"Bundy's crimes from a female perspective -- uncovering the disturbing and profound way in which Bundy's pathological hatred of women collided with the culture wars and feminist movement of the 1970s, culminating in what is perhaps the most infamous true-crime saga of our time,"
We've obviously seen quite a bit about the charming killer over the last year, with Netflix releasing the movie starring Zac Efron, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, as well as the doco series Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes.
Both brought the public insight into Ted Bundy that they hadn't seen or heard before, and now this new docoseries with Molly and Elizabeth will tell us the horrific story from the inside sources themselves.
Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer will feature never before seen photos of Bundy appearing as a normal person doing normal things like riding a horse. It will also feature stories from some of the survivors of his attacks.
Directed by journalist Trish Wood (The Fifth Estate), the Amazon Prime series will coincide with Kendall's updated and expanded 1981 memoir, The Phantom Prince: My Life With Ted Bundy.
