Oscar nominations for 2020 have been revealed, with Taika Waititi's Jojo Rabbit up for six awards.
Joaquin Phoenix-led Joker led the nominations with 11 nods, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Phoenix.
The film will compete with race car drama Waititi's Nazi satire, Jojo Rabbit, Ford v Ferrari, Netflix gangster movie The Irishman, classic novel Little Women, divorce drama Marriage Story, World War One film 1917, nostalgic Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and South Korean movie Parasite.
The Irishman, Universal Pictures' 1917 and Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood from Sony Pictures got 10 nods each.
Streaming service Netflix received 24 nominations, including for The Irishman, as well as for Marriage Story, The Two Popes and documentary American Factory.
The Oscars will be handed out at a ceremony in Hollywood on February 9.
Scarlett Johansson was nominated for both Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Jojo Rabbit.
Two Kiwis are up for Best Adapted Screenplay with Waititi and Anthony for Jojo Rabbit and Anthony McCarten for The Two Popes. Waititi is also nominated for Best Picture as a producer.
