Melbourne man caught breaking lock-down cause his flatmate was having loud sex

News 11/08/2020

This has gotta be one of the funniest excuses to break stage 4 lock down.

At the moment, residents of Melbourne are under strict lock down rules, meaning they can't be outside of their homes between 8pm and 5am, and can only stay within 5kms of where they live.

Victoria Police caught a Melbourne bloke in his car on Sunday evening, more than 5kms away from his home. When the cops asked why, he told them that his flatmate was having loud sex with a partner and he needed to have some space.

Let's be honest, we've all been there. There's nothing worse than hearing that sort of carry on coming from your flatties room at the best of times, let alone during lock down.

Buuut, perhaps this dude should've just gone for a walk instead.

Victoria Police handed out 270 fines to people over the weekend and have probably heard every excuse under the sun at this point.

Let's hope NZ stays well away from level 4 - stay at home and wash ya damn hands.
