Aussie Border Patrol officers have stumbled upon nearly half a tonneof MDMA in Sydney recently, and where they found it is pretty wild!
The stash of drugs, with a street value of nearly $57 million, was found in some sausage making machines, which would've made the trip to Bunnings for a snag a little more exciting than the usual.
ABC reported that Federal Police then took over the investigation due to the sheer size of the loot, replacing the illicit drugs with counterfeit drug packages, which was then delivered to a New South Wales supermarket.
Three men believed to be a part of a large Sydney drug ring were then arrested following the incident. They are now facing potential life sentences in prison.
