Here are the winners of the Drum&BassArena Awards 2021

The Drum&BassArena Awards are all wrapped up for 2021 and this year's awards were massive for the New Zealand scene.

The Drum&BassArena Awards are all wrapped up for 2021 and this years awards were massive for the New Zealand scene.

Aotearoa proudly boasted nominees across a range of categories including best Newcomer, Best Vocalist, Best Live Streamed Set, Best Festival and Best Album.

While Dom Whiting took out Best Live Stream for his bike sets, Alix Perez' Keep Hush set in Christchurch took out second place with A.M.C's Digging Deep, Liquid Classics set filmed in Queenstown, came in third.

Lee Mvtthews came in third for Best Newcomer, getting a shout out for the massive work they've done representing New Zealand on the world stage.

"This is the first time an act outside of Europe has done so well in this category.

Representing New Zealand, these guys are a huge deal down-under and their reputation is going global.

 

These guys represent a whole thriving homegrown scene out there which we were all so jealous of."

Three of the big awards went to Charlotte Haining took out Best Vocal over kiwi nominee Elipsa, A.M.C scored the title of Best DJ for another year and Camo & Krooked for Best Producer.
