Festivals in the UK are giving glitter the boot since it's so shitty for the environment

festival 03/05/2018

Did you really go to a festival if you didn't bedazzle the fuck out of yourself in the process?

Everyone knows that festivals and glitter always go hand in hadn, but not a lot of punters are aware of how bad glitter can be for the ol' environment...

A bunch of UK festivals have just announced the will be BANNING the festy accessory due to it's negative impact on the environment.

This comes shortly after the annnouncement that Coachella will be banning plastic straws from their festivities, in the worldwide bid to make our events more eco-friendly.

There is a way around it however, as biodegradable glitter does exist. Most glitter stations at festivals now use the stuff, which is just as affordable, but hs the added bonus of not being harmless to our earth.
