Fyre Festival documentary is set to be out next Friday

festival 11/01/2019

Remember the absolute shit show that was Fyre Festival? (Or was supposed to be anyway).

The brainchild of Ja Rule and Billy McFarland, Fyre Festival was supposed to be the most insane festival the world had ever seen, set to take place in the Bahamas in 2017, with the final lineup including Major Lazer, Disclosure, Skepta, Blink 182, Kaytranada and heaps more.

Anyway, basically the whole thing was a disaster and was cancelled after guests had already arrived. People were left stranded on the island with flights all cancelled and no accommodation available.

Netflix has once again got our backs, and is coming through with a doco all about the festival. 'FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened' attempts to shine a light on the festival from behind the scenes with real captured footage at the event, behind the scenes footage of McFarland, and new commentary footage from those involved.

Check out the trailer for the doco above, and sit tight til the 18th Jan when it will be released worldwide. We'll get the popcorn.
