Rei, a musician from Wellington, Aotearoa, is currently in the US of A representing our little country and rapping the Sean Richards remix of his absolute tune 'Anahera'.
So sick to see an NZ artist showing off Te Reo on the other side of the world, and looking groovy while doing it.
He even gives us a cheeky little shout on the TikTok and his Instagram for playing the Sean Richards remix of his tune ‘Anahera’, which has been a big part of the rotation lately.
“Ngā mihi George FM for smashing this Waiata lately,” he says on the TikTok, which involves him getting a boogie on in Joshua Tree and Coachella valley in California.
On his Instagram post he lets us know that there’ll eventually be a music video for the banger which will consist of all the footage he got in the US.
Keep it up Rei! We love the tune here at George and we love it even more when NZ artists rep the culture around the world - no one does it better than us Kiwis.
