The future of Daft Punk has been revealed

undefined

Not long after they announced the end of Daft Punk, their future has been revealed. Both Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo have announced they will be launching solo careers.

Thomas Bangalter will be creating his own record label, which will be called Roulette. This will be a space where he will anonymously release music alongside some of the many music producers he's worked with.

In his statement, he said,

"The grit and the dirt of underground music made specifically for dark nightclubs and the feeling and atmosphere of the dark nightclubs where that underground music is played."

Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo has announced his new project, REVISION. Where he is planning on reigniting his love for live performances. He is also set to release a concept album with his past collaborations as well as some new school American funk and R'n'B.

When speaking to Mixmag, he said,

"I've worked with so many great musicians and have vivid ideas of what I want to achieve with the album format, now is the time to bring this vision to life."
