18 years after its last instalment, the Matrix franchise is set to resume with 2021's 'Matrix Resurrections' arriving before the end of the year.
Due out December 22, Resurrections will see Keanu Reeves return as Neo alongside original cast members Carrie-Ann Moss, Lambert Wilson and Jada Pinkett-Smith. They will be joined by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris and Christina Ricci for the new film.
The new film picks up twenty years after Revolutions left off, with Neo living a seemingly normal life under his previous identity before meeting a new version of Morpheus and being offered a red pill, being reintroduced to the world of The Matrix and joining forces with a group of rebels to fight a new enemy.
