You can now see how your Uber drivers have rated you

Yeah nah, we definitely don't remember most of our Uber rides

Yeahhh so we've all been in Ubers when we're a bit worse for wear and in all honesty, some we don't even remember taking.

This new feature might help explain why your rating isn't quite perfect..

From today onwards, you can now access a full breakdown of your average rating in the Uber app's new Privacy Centre. You can see how many drivers rated you 5-stars, 1-star and everything in between.

Simply log into your Uber account on the app or online and then follow these steps:

- Go into the settings menu, tap privacy and then privacy centre

- In the privacy centre, swipe to the right and click on the "would you like to see a summary of how you use Uber" tile

- Scroll down to the “browse your data” section and tap on “View my ratings” to see the breakdown of your ratings

According to Uber, nobody has a full 5-star rating, so don't stress if yours is a bit below.

The new feature has shed light on the best and worst cities in the country for their average user ratings. The city with the best ratings is Hamilton with an average of 4.91 and the worst city is Auckland with an average of 4.86.

If you need a bit of a refresher on basic Uber etiquette, we got you.

Here's 5 top tips straight from Uber to help you boost your rating.

1. Be ready - Make sure you don't leave your Uber waiting and you're prepared and ready when they arrive at your location.

2. Leave it as you found it - Many drivers may be using their personal vehicle for Uber therefore make sure you take any rubbish with you and leave it exactly how you found it. Easy!

3. Treat everyone and everything with respect - Always treat your driver and their vehicle as you would want to be treated. Simple.

4. Don't slam the door! - While you may not realise you're doing it, many Uber drivers will deduct stars if you slam the door, so remember, close it lightly!

5. Be polite and courteous - A simple 'how are you?' or 'how has your day been?' goes a long way. Give it a go!

If your average Uber rating is less than you'd hope give our tips a go and see if your score improves.

Good luck!
