It's finally arrived.
'Big Mouth' season three has just been added to Netflix today (4th October), just in time for a weekend binge.
Netflix confirmed that the show would be returning for a further three seasons (!!!) when season two finished last year, so don't worry, there's plenty more where that came from.
The show first aired in 2017 and basically became an instant cult hit, with an impressive 8.0 on IMDb, and a perfect hundy on Rotten Tomatoes. It even had a couply award nominations,
The creators have previously said they draw on their own teenage experiences to come up with ideas for the show - the two characters Nick and Andrew are loosely based on creators Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg.
Co-creator Mark Levin talked about the approach to hiring new writers for the show, saying: "Whenever we interviewed a writer for the show we'd always say, 'Tell us about what it was like when you had your first period, or what it was like when you were caught masturbating'. That was the litmus test because they had to be able to freely open up. We made the room a really safe place where everyone could talk about that."
Get settled in for some weekend watching team. We reckon you can get through the season before Monday no sweat.
