Watch: Dutch DJ Hardwell calls out SAGA Festival for no pay and 'shit' equipment mid-set

Headphones were thrown, sets were ended early - seems like they call it SAGA for a reason.

Romanian music festival SAGA is copping heat from performers on its own lineup and it's a hard watch.

Dutch DJ and music producer Hardwell took off his headphones and chucked them during his set, then called out the festival for not paying him and providing “shit” equipment.

Comments from Redditors that were there say  he was struggling with the cue and play buttons and going into an emergency loop on the CDJs before grabbing the mic and going full HAM on the festival.

“Let me be really honest," he said on stage. “This fucking festival didn't pay me any fucking money. To be here tonight… and the equipment, everything is fucking shit. Nothing is working.”

Hardwell wasn't the only one who was pissed -  Nicki Minaj cancelled from the get-go.

“Out of concern for the well-being of our team and myself, I have been advised by my security detail not to travel to Romania’s festival tonight due to safety concerns regarding protests in the area,” she explained on social media.

SAGA responded to both acts, and they brought the sass when they responded to Hardwell.

“The equipment travelled all the way from the Netherlands, just like you," they addressed him in an Instagram post "The same set seems to be working perfectly fine for Will Sparks right now.”

In response to  Niki Minaj’s cancellation, they said:

“It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Nicki Minaj has just cancelled her performance due to concerns for her and her team’s well-being in Romania… This has nothing to do with SAGA, and is beyond our powers.”

The SAGA saga continued when DJ James Hype used Hardwell's speech in a remix that same weekend - absolute scenes.
