Avicii began working with Swedish studio Hello There Games back in 2015 to give the world a new way to experience his music.

Four years later, that is finally being released with 'Avicii Invector.'

The game was first released as 'Invector' on PS4 in 2017, but is receiving an update with a lengthened title.

"'Avicii Invector' celebrates Avicii’s life and music by immersing players inside the pulsing rhythms, evocative lyrics, and beautiful melodies he created," Wired Productions Managing Director Leo Zullo said. "He was an amazing talent, and as an advocate for mental health, I hope and believe this project will bring Tim Bergling’s wonderful spirit to a world that can benefit from it.”

Described as a fast-paced rhythm experience, Avicii Invector gameplay merges Avicii’s uplifting music with breathtaking visuals, allowing players to be fully immersed.

You can pre-order Avicii Invector for Steam, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One now, with an update to the PS4 version expected to roll-out soon.

Some proceeds from the game’s profits go to The Tim Bergling Foundation, a charity founded by Avicii’s parents after his death to “advocate for the recognition of suicide as a global health emergency and promote removing the stigma attached to the discussion of mental health issues.”
