Flume, Rufus lead dance/electronic Grammy nominees

The Recording Academy has released its 62nd annual list of Grammy Award nominees.

We've got some incredible entries for Best Dance Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Album, and Record of The Year categories spearheaded by the likes of Flume, RUFUS DU SOL and Skrillex.

Meduza’s “Piece Of Your Heart,” RÜFÜS DU SOL’s “Underwater,” The Chemical Brothers’ “Got To Keep On,” and Skrillex, Ty Dolla $ign, and Boys Noize’s “Midnight Hour” collaboration and Bonobo’s “Linked” are up for Best Dance Recording.

The Best Dance Album category features RÜFÜS DU SOL’s SOLACE, Flume’s Hi, This Is Flume. Apparat’s LP5, The Chemical Brothers’ lauded No Geography and Tycho’s Weather.

R&V headliners Disclosure is the only electronic act in the running for Record of The Year with their hit Khalid collab “Talk.” They're up against “Hey, Ma” by Bon Iver, Billie Eilish‘s “Bad Guy,” “7 Rings” by Ariana Grande, “Hard Place” by H.E.R., Lizzo‘s “Truth Hurts,” “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee, and Lil Nas X‘s now-iconic “Old Town Road.”

The 62nd annual Grammy Awards take place in Los Angeles on January 26, with Alicia Keys hosting for the second consecutive year.
