Regularly attending gigs makes you happier, study proves it
Earlier this year an Australian study surveyed 1,000 people and found those who attend concerts regularly live happier lives than those who don't.
Essentially their findings proved people who attend any kind of communal musical event felt better on the whole than those who didn't - that's everything from music festivals to club nights. The emphasis was less on the experience and more about enjoying music with other people, sharing happiness.
Or in science speak: "The findings also emphasised the important role of engaging with music in the company of others with regard to SWB (subjective wellbeing), highlighting an interpersonal feature of music."
Well, on that note we've got a shitload of gigs lined up for ya, check all our events here.
