A female-only holiday resort is to open on an island off the coast of Finland.
Known as SuperSheIsland, the resort will be open to females only.
Founder Kristina Roth says the concept is in no way anti-male.
She told the New York Post that having men around on holiday can distract women from their relaxing.
"When there [is] a cute guy, women put on lipstick. The idea [at SuperSheIsland] is focus on yourself."
Ms Roth bought the forest-covered island after falling in love with a local man.
She says she wants to encourage women to become better versions of themselves.
As a kiteboarder and snowboarder in her spare time, SuperSheIsland will have a strong wellness theme, with visitors able to participate in yoga, meditation, cooking and fitness classes.
Those interested can register now with at the SuperSheIsland website, and will be vetted for private membership.
Ms Roth launched her SuperShe concept as a networking group for women. She has run several other female-only wellness retreats around the world, including Hawaii.
The island is due to open to bookings in June this year.
