MP’s spontaneously sing Pokarekare Ana

MP's and people watching in the gallery of the Beehive broke into a spontaneous song following the passage of historic gay marriage. The Maori song of love Pokarekare Ana echoed through the halls of parliament sung in Te Reo.

New Zealand became the 13th nation in the world to legalise same-sex marriage after MPs voted 77 to 44 in favour of the Marriage Amendment Bill.
