For the latest George FM Waiata Reo Remix Comp, we teamed up with one of our favourite Māori artists Theia, with the chance to remix a waiata from her reo Māori project, Te Kaahu.
We had heaps of producers enter, with so much mahi done but there can be only one winner of the $500...
After listening to all the entries, George FM Breakfast rang our winner, Tōpia, with Theia live in studio to announce the good news.
Posting on Insta, Theia shared her reaction to hearing the remix for the first time "Tōpia bringing the fiiiiire".
