Baynk's new single 'Come Home' is here and it will make you feel all of the things

music interviews 18/07/2017

Jock Nowell-Usticke, AKA Baynk, dropped his new single 'Come Home' on Friday, and we're in love.

Not to mention, we were lucky enough to score the track's world-wide radio premiere.

If you've ever experienced home sickness or even that anxiety before a big move, 'Come Home' will particularly resonate with you.

Shit, should we stay in the same place, where we feel most comfortable? ...Or should we make the right career decision, probably, and move to L.A.?

'Come Home' channels chill vibes, a funky hook, U'S singer Shallou's soothing, alternative-sounding vocals, and Baynk's signature smooth production - all the ingredients we need for a huge chuuune here at George.

Last time Jock was in L.A., he met up with the Chicago-based singer Shallou and they put this track together.

Speaking to Jay, Jock explained the pairs creative thinking behind the song:

"We just sat down and wrote a song about the whole concept of being away from home... and maybe not knowing where your home is...

He's from Chicago, I'm from New Zealand, obviously, and we're both thinking about making that move to L.A...

Shit, should we stay in the same place, where we feel most comfortable? ...Or should we make the right career decision, probably, and move to L.A.?"

Jay had a bit of a fanboy moment... look how cute and excited he is in that photo up top. Too much.
