Holy shit, the Eiffel Tower just got a flying fox
One of the world's most recognisable structures has received an exhilarating new revamp - but people wanting to make the most of it need to get in quick.
Paris' historic Eiffel Tower has been outfitted with a zipline that takes users from the structure's upper floor all the way across the Champ de Mars to L'Ecole Militaire.
The flying fox carries the brave 115 metres above the tourists below, and can accelerate to speeds of about 90km/h.
But the ride is only temporary, and closes on Sunday.
The Eiffel Tower, which already attracts upwards of 7 million visitors each year, is now a hotspot for thrillseekers for the next week - and thousands are expected to try it out in the coming days.
The ride is completely free, and was reportedly installed in celebration of tennis grand-slam Roland Garros, which is being hosted in the city.
