A 20-year-old American has been arrested on suspicion of using a fake ID after trying to get into a bar with a classic 'McLovin' ID.
Daniel Alfredo Burleson was arrested on Friday after he was spotted with an alcoholic beverage in an Iowa bar according to FOX.
When confronted by police, Burleson reportedly admitted to drinking vodka, but didn't provide ID and was removed from the bar. Once he finally showed his ID which proved he was underage, he was asked to provide the fake he used to get in and denied having on before police spotted the famous Hawaiian licence featuring the name 'McLovin' with the date of birth as 3 June 1981.
Yep. Burleson had a novelty fake ID made famous in 2007 hit film Superbad.
According to FOX, authorities claim Burleson 'smelled strongly of ingested alcohol and had slurred speech and bloodshot watery eyes'.
It's believed that he was held on suspicion of possession of a fake licence, unlawfully possessing alcohol, public intoxication and being under the legal age in a bar.
He's reportedly scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing next week.
