An incredible news story making the rounds in the UK last week tells of a foul-mouthed ghost just wanting to be left alone.
The Daily Mail reported that a 'woman in white' has been preying upon walkers in Somerset's Dead Woman's Ditch - named after the 18th century murder of Jane Walford by her husband John - and been telling them to 'f**k off.'
While there were reports of a similar occurrence two years ago, these new reports have caused a mixed reaction from locals.
'When I was about 17 on my way home from work, driving along a cold road, I saw a bright white figure on the side of the road so I slowed down,' one said.
'It appeared to be a woman completely dressed in white, old-fashioned clothing.
Another skeptically added it was 'probably just a Bluetooth speaker hidden in the bushes,' and another said it 'all sounds a bit Scooby Doo to me'.
While we may never get to the bottom of authenticating these reports, it's probably best to stay away from anywhere called 'Dead Woman's Ditch'.
