Canada has invented the world's first marijuana beer and she hits hard

Good ol' Canada always has our back, and today is no different.

Many cannabis beers already exist, but these are merely infused with THC and CBD oils. This new start up is different. Province Brands is making beer by actually brewing with the cannabis plant - stalks, stems and all. It's said to be the first of it's kind.

It didn't start off smoothly, with Dooma Wendschuh, co-founder and CEO of Province Brands saying: "The things that we would come up with just tasted horrible. They tasted like rotten broccoli." Thanks to a little chemistry work, they've developed a beer that he says is "dry, savory, less sweet than a typical beer flavor". Sounds very interesting indeed.

It has around 6.5mg of THC, and the alcohol is removed, so you're not trying to play your highs off each other.

“The beer hits you very quickly, which is not common for a marijuana edible," said Wendschuh.

Guess we're off to Canada guys.
