In the United States, tickets to Avengers: Endgame, the latest instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe went on pre-sale earlier this week and hype is at an all-time high.
The film broke the record for the most pre-sales in a 24-hour period while crashing servers and hitting fans with major wait times.
There are plenty of punters out there who would do almost anything to see the film during its opening weekend, and scalpers are trying to capitalise on that opportunity.
According to Screen Crush, opening weekend tickets to the film have been listed on Ebay for close to $2500 a ticket.
Other sellers aren't quite as ambitious, and have tickets offered up for anything between $100 and $300.
The film hits screens in New Zealand on April 24.
