$600K worth of cocaine found in kids books imported to Sydney

Drug traffickers have been known to get pretty creative with their smuggling efforts, putting the goods in places they think people would never think to look. 

It didn't work for this dude though, who tried to smuggle 1.72kg of cocaine inside children's books from Portugal to Sydney. The books arrived in two shipments earlier this month, and were discovered by the Australian Border Force after x-raying. 

The guy responsible was a 31-year-old man, who has been arrested and was scheduled to appear in court for importing  "a commercial quantity of a border-controlled drug."

Things are definitely not looking up for him.
