$3 million worth of cocaine washed up on West Auckland beach

News 08/08/2019

Holy hecka, that's a lot of narcotics.

A massive amount of the devil's dandruff has washed up on Bethells Beach in Auckland, with police officers sweeping the area since Wednesday night, uncovering 19 packages filled with the drug.

The NZ Herald reports that the packages were contained in netting and found by locals out walking. Each package is roughly the size of a VHS tape.

In other news, for reasons unknown, traffic heading into Bethells Beach is at standstill and the busiest it's been in years (jokes - this is not at all true).

More details are likely to emerge, keep your eyes on Newshub for more.
