Iconic raving ice cream truck Mr Whompy is up for sale, so who's keen to go halves?

"It's time to take it to the next level, someone else that can give it the same passion and attention."

The iconic rave ice cream van Mr Whompy has been put up for sale by its UK owner who’s looking for the right person to take home the ultimate travelling DJ booth.

The restored ice cream truck has created some epic scenes over the past decade travelling to events and festivals all over England.

According to the Bristol Post, Mr Whompy's co-founder Stuart Wilkinson first acquired the bright yellow van from an ice cream vendor in Wolverhampton in 2013 and transformed it into a small stage with strobe lighting and smoke machines.

Wilkinson told the publication: “I can't really put into words how much fun it's been, but we're all getting a bit older and have different priorities.”

“I've just had a baby. I think it's time to take it to the next level, someone else that can give it the same passion and attention that we did for the past ten years,” he added.

Wilkinson stated that the van's purpose when it was originally revealed to the public was to "give entertainment" and "put a smile on people's faces" as it travelled through the streets of Bristol.

From the looks of it, Mr Whompy did exactly that!

Wilkinson is now asking those interested in purchasing Mr Whompy to get in touch via his email stuart.wilkinson2001@gmail.com - serious offers, of course!

“It's a great opportunity for someone or a group of people. It's completely unique.”

“Unless you created something yourself, this is an opportunity for a readymade thing that can make money. You can do weddings and corporate events to balance it out and generally have a bit of fun. If you're a DJ it's even better because you get to DJ on it.”

Honestly, I could be very keen. Anyone wanna go halves?!
