When someone walks in with a Zinger Box meal you smell it before you see it but now - by entering the cologne game - KFC wants to bring a bit more class to their smell reputation.
As a limited edition Valentine’s Day gift, KFC NZ are releasing the aroma of their new fragrance suitably named No.11 Eu De Colonel.
Created in partnership with Perfume Playground, it’s apparently not going to smell exactly like a box of wicked wings, which is either good or bad news depending on who you ask.
Rather, the fragrance is inspired by KFC’s 11 secret herbs and spices and will include “top notes of spicy black pepper, sage and botanical extracts”.
Hopefully, we won’t end up smelling like we’ve come straight from the food court, though we’re pretty sure the colonel knows what he’s doing.

According to our mates at KFC, they’ve only made a limited number of the fragrance, which will be up for grabs for some lucky KFC super fans and their lovers. Those winners will be able to say the words “Hold on, let me put on my KFC colonel” which is a dream I’ve never had come true.
The fragrance will be available to win from February 8th, on the KFC scent website or by dueting the official KFCNZ TikTok to go in the draw - so keep an eye out for that!
