Resident George FM DJ duo Bavhu's Boiler Room set is now live and we're proud as punch

The boys killed it at Hidden Valley and now it's available for our viewing pleasure.

Kiwi DJ duo Bavhu, who bless our airwaves every Sunday from 12 - 2 pm with tasty tunes and mixes, have just had their Boiler Room set go up so get amongst it team!

Their set from Hidden Valley New Year's festival in Matakana is the one being broadcasted to the world and it is an absolute doozy, so sit back and enjoy.

You can watch it anytime you like on Boiler Room's website or YouTube channel.

Cam and Kahu (the blokes who make up Bavhu) say they feel immensely privileged and proud to be repping not only George but Aotearoa too.

“Boiler Room and the acts that play on it have been an inspiration since day one,” they said. “When we got the call up to play we actually couldn’t believe our ears and it’s an absolute honour to represent NZ and George FM for our Boiler Room debut.”

Festival goers slowly filled up the dance floor as they heard Bavhu’s killer tunes, which they said was a welcome sight.

“The vibe was next level - was awesome to heat up the floor from 50-odd peeps to 500+ and pass the reigns over to Sin. Big disco Brightside NRG!”

During the mix, they snuck in their upcoming tune ‘Always Dancin’ which comes out in March, so keep ya ears open for that one.

Cam had a quick answer when we asked him what the duo’s favourite Boiler Room set of all time is.

“I believe Kahu and I have contributed more than half of the 200k views on the Motor City Drum Ensemble Boiler Room from Dekmantel. Big Brightside vibes and a huge inspiration for our sets and radio show.”

Their Boiler Room comes just a day after Sin from George Drive had hers go live so it’s been an awesome week to say the least.

Make sure to tune in to Bavhu on Sundays from midday. Whether you’re prepping for a sesh or looking to recover from one, they’ve got you covered.
