From set times to gates: All you need to know about Fred Again's Wellington waterfront gig

Who's playing and when is the legend himself on stage?

Fred Again and Friends are set for a whopping four hours of incredible tunes at Wellington’s Waitangi Park tonight. 

If you managed to suss a ticket, first of all, you might be wondering what the go is for getting to and from the park, and second of all, you’re keen to find out what time the legend himself is hitting the stage. 

Don’t worry we’ve got you sorted!

GATES
Gates will open to all ticket holders at 4.00pm before the first act hits the stage at 6.00pm - make sure you get to the park with plenty of time to spare.

The event is sold out and will NOT have door sales available.

PARKING & TRANSPORT
Check out this map HERE to find the best route to Waitangi Park.

Using public transport and ride-share options is heavily encouraged as there will be limited parking around the venue.

Punters are encouraged to walk along the Waterfront past Te Papa and join the queue heading into Waitangi Park. 

Road closures taking place are as follows:

Barnett St car park
- Herd Street will also have restricted access

If heading to the event in a vehicle it is best to avoid Cable Street due to the heavy foot traffic heading into the park.

FOOD/DRINK
While the event has a special liquor license, there is a liquor ban on the Waterfront and streets surrounding the venue with fines up to $250 - finish your bevvy before leaving so you don’t cop a fine.

Take 10 will be available in two spots - Courtenay/Taranaki Street and 47 Courtenay Place- offering water, lollies and support to anyone who needs it.

They’ll also have a spot for you to charge your phone up to suss your way home.
