WHAT SO NOT – DIVIDE AND CONQUER - NOISIA REMIX

Question: What should you do when an Aussie bass legend enlists 3 dutch fullas to remix of one of the biggest club / festival tracks of 2016?

Answer: Run a cold shower and have fresh underwear handy.

That’s right. Friday saw What So Not drop his remix pack for the “Divide & Conquer” EP and he broke the net for the arvo. There’s some cool remixes on there, namely our mate’s from Perth SlumberJack, and most notably (and finally) – this ridiculous remix by the Noisia lads. Top Notch! The tune speaks for itself. Get amongst.

MURA MASA – WAVE / SOUL M8s – FREE DOWNLOAD

George fave Mura Masa is upping the stakes with this awesome double freebie. Having pretty much dominated 2016 after teaming up with A$AP Rocky for the re-lick of Love$ick and then producing Stormzy’s jam “First Things First” from Gang Signs & Prayer, It’s fair to say there’s no sign of the producer from the small island of Geurnsey slowing down any time soon.

Wave has a distinctly UK grime / bashment feel to it which caught my attention and Sole M8’s is an ethereal 4 /4 driven track that focuses more on the atmospheric side of muramasa’s melodic production style. Looking forward to the next drop already! Download from here.4 / 5

NOTORIOUS B.I.G. – JUICY LOCATION – (LOUIS FUTON FLIP ft. KEIYNAN LONSDALE) FREE DOWNLOAD

Because who the f*ck doesn’t like a good old Notorious mash up right? Louis Futon appeared on New Music Monday just a few weeks back with his flip of Frank Ocean’s “Solo” jam. Now he’s back with this tasty little flip of Biggie’s “Juicy” mashed up with Khalid’s “Location” and the results speak for themselves. Accompanied by L.A. vocalist Kienan Lonsdale who drifts in and out of the chorus from location into Juicy and back is killer. This flip is certain to have heads nodding from the get go.

SURVIVAL – I FOUND YOU FEAT NAOMI PRYOR

Fans of Drum & Bass on George Nights will know this man. Having made it to the final of Masterchef UK recently, Steve Survival has also been cooking up winning recipes in the studio with this new jam about to drop on Dispatch Recordings. “I Found You” Feat Naomi Pryor features the trademark Survival tricks of the trade. Running drums, crystal clear melodies and rolling subs. Accompanied by vocalist Naomi Pryor’s soaring vocal arrangement this track caught my attention a few weeks back when Survival threw down a guest mix on the George FM Nights Dispatch Recordings Artist Showcase. Make sure you tune in every second Tuesday at 9.30pm to hear the very latest from the Dispatch Team.

HEALY – DEM MY DOGS Feat Trapo (Taken From the Subluxe LP)

A Couple of weeks ago I introduced a lot of you to Mepmphis based artist Healy via his super laid back and soulful RnB chiller “Unwind”. He’s back with 12 of the smoothest soul infused tracks you could hope to hear on a Monday. This album will get you through the week trust me. Standout tracks from this LP for me are Reckless, Chaparral, Build and this jam, Dem My Dogs feat Trapo. When I came across Healy a while back I didn’t realize he was working on an album so when this came past my DM’s I was pleasantly surprised. Gally are gonna’ love this guy. Chuck him in your chill play list and enjoy some masterful tunes from the Tennessee native. Stream the full LP and follow Healy to keep up to date with this his music. It looks like there will be a lot of it on the horizon.
