The Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness was announced just last week with an absolutely massive lineup featuring some of the world's biggest names and plenty of Avicii's collaborators including David Guetta, Kygo, Aloe Blacc and Rita Ora.
The event was on sale for just 30 minutes before all 55,000 tickets were gone.
The concert, played in the late Swedish DJs honour, is set to take place December 5th in his hometown of Stockholm at Friends Arena.
“It’s overwhelming, difficult to take in,” Avicii’s father Klas Bergling said in a statement following the sell out. “I’m so grateful for all the people who want to share this special evening with us.”
Proceeds from the show will go to the recently established Tim Bergling Foundation, which aims to raise awareness around mental health.
