It's been more than two years since the passing of Tim Bergling - known to the music world as Avicii.
A tribute museum titled The Avicii Experience is set to open in Avicii’s hometown of Stockholm, Sweden next year, proving his influence stretched far beyond his music.
The Avicii Experience will be an interactive tribute museum that follows the late producer rise “from a reclusive music nerd to a celebrated superstar, from his boyhood room where it all started to the Los Angeles studio where the biggest hits were created.”
Never-before-seen photos and videos, 'previously unreleased material that was the foundation for the posthumous album ‘TIM'' and an unreleased draft of “Levels” will be available to the public according to an announcement from Avicii’s team.
The museum is set to be built in the Sergels Torg public square as part of a new digital culture area known as SPACE.
A percentage of the revenues generated from the museum will got towards the Tim Bergling Foundation, which was established to promote mental health awareness following Avicii’s passing.
